We are excited today to announce the launch of PANS PANDAS Scotland!
PANS PANDAS Scotland is a not for profit organisation (with a goal of registering as a charity in Scotland). Our purpose is to support the community affected by PANS and PANDAS in Scotland through raising awareness, sharing information and providing opportunities for the community to connect.
Our founder, Gillian Mathewson has previously worked at PANS PANDAS UK, but through this work came to the realisation that because of the devolved health, education and social care services in Scotland, the needs of the PANS PANDAS community in Scotland would be best served by a local organisation.
PANS PANDAS UK and PANS PANDAS Scotland will work collaboratively, where possible, to ensure alignment of goals and avoid duplication of efforts.
